Building Permits are required in New Hampton. Please call the Selectmen's Office for further information.
Building Permit applications are available at the Selectmen's Office. Building Permits are reviewed by the Board of Selectmen at their regularly scheduled meetings on Thursday evenings. The Board has up to 30 days to review applications.
The following information must be furnished with the application:
Map & Lot #, abutter's names, completed "Des. of Work" portion
State of NH septic system "approval for construction" permit #
State or Town approved Driveway Permit number
Diagramed Plot Plan showing the existing and proposed buildings, including septic, with all boundary setbacks.
State approved Residential Energy Code Application Approval number (obtained from the Public Utilities Commission - form provided by our office).
Cash or check made payable to the "Town of New Hampton".
